I’m glad that it didn’t take the death of six innocent people for me to realize that Sarah Palin is a complete ass.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not placing blame here. Here’s what I AM saying. Nobody with as much “power” (be it good, or corrupt) as Sarah Palin should be able to say the things she says and get away with it. Yet, so many people see NO problem with it. Violence, threats, and irrational logic, it seems, is the norm. It is unfortunate that this situation happened, however, I hope it shows that it is time for the madness to stop. Calling President Barack Obama Hitler and telling the public that Health Care Reform is actually “death panels” is not a way for the American public to make educated decisions in the voting process. In the worst case scenario, it leads to death and destruction. It is time to hold the people who are manipulating our public with these lies accountable.

Oh, and the Tea Party? They so often claim the name of Jesus Christ as inspiration to the whole of their political philosophy. Unfortunately, they do not seem to have read his teachings.

The people telling me to give Sarah Palin a break are the same people that won’t give the president one. PERSPECTIVE!

Thanks to the FCC, the internet will be a lot like healthcare. Those that can afford it will receive better treatment, and those that can’t will get it crappy and slower.

This is a crucial time in the fight for Net Neutrality. The FCC is pursuing new Net Neutrality rules; Congress is weighing legislation; and President Obama wants Net Neutrality to become the law of the land.

More than 1.9 million people have already urged Congress and the FCC to stand with the public and pass strong Net Neutrality protections. If we can reach 2 million people, we will send a resounding message that Washington can’t ignore.

You didn’t get mad when we illegally invaded a country that posed no threat to us.

You didn’t get mad when we spent over 600 billion(and counting) on said illegal war.

You didn’t get mad when over 10 billion dollars just disappeared in Iraq.

You didn’t get mad when you found out we were torturing people.

You didn’t get mad when the government was illegally wiretapping Americans.

You didn’t get mad when we didn’t catch Bin Laden.

You didn’t get mad when you saw the horrible conditions at Walter Reed.

You didn’t get mad when we let a major US city drown.

You didn’t get mad when we gave a 900 billion tax break to the rich.

You didn’t get mad when the deficit hit the trillion dollar mark, and our debt hit the thirteen trillion dollar mark.

You finally got mad when the government decided that people in America deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick. Yes, illegal wars, lies, corruption, torture, stealing your tax dollars to make the rich richer, are all okay with you, but helping other Americans…
