Nick Swardson has announced the end of his Comedy Central sketch show, Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time, after two seasons. Swardson said ratings were good enough but that producing the series took its toll financially and creatively.
I wish him best of luck on the next project!
Another Movie Trailer of the Day: Beauty Is Embarrassing is a feature-length documentary about noted American artist Wayne White that’s set to premiere at this year’s SXSW.
White, a jack of awesome trades, is known to most as the guy who designed the sets and puppets for Pee Wee’s Playhouse, but he also crafted the Georges Méliès-inspired Smashing Pumpkins music video for “Tonight, Tonight” and painted the cover art for Lambchop’s Nixon among many, many other things.
Needless to say, he’s a very interesting man.
No theatrical release date has yet been set.

A ‘Modern’ Wedding. On Tuesday, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet posted this photo just as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Proposition 8 was unconstitutional. [huffpo]
